We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Procurement Specialist to join our fast-paced tech services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our supply chain operations and will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods, and services, as well as managing vendors. The ideal candidate will have a knack for negotiation, an analytical mindset, and a deep understanding of procurement software. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute procurement strategies aimed at streamlining processes and optimizing costs.
2. Manage the company's supply portfolio and ensure its consistent and adequate supply of all goods and services.
3. Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms and manage relationships with key suppliers.
4. Use procurement software to track goods and services, from initiation of the purchase through delivery.
5. Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
6. Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
7. Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
8. Create and maintain detailed records of all procurement documents, such as purchase orders and contracts.
9. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
10. Forecast upcoming demand and conduct market research to identify potential new vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in procurement or a similar role.
3. Proven experience in vendor management and procurement software.
4. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to network and establish relationships with suppliers.
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation.
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
10. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards would be a plus.
