What You’ll Do
Lead the planning, design, and development of high-performance electrical connectors and cable systems, from concept through evaluation.
Partner with leading server and storage OEMs/ODMs to deliver tailored high-speed interconnect solutions.
Apply expertise in server architecture, PCI-SIG, OCP, JEDEC, and SFF standards, along with signal integrity principles, to create world-class products.
Drive innovation in product design, from conceptualization and prototyping to component fabrication and testing.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements, cost goals, and timeline commitments.
Conduct competitive benchmarking to refine product performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Provide technical leadership for product testing, validation, and compliance with industry standards.
Support sales and marketing teams through technical presentations, training, and direct customer engagement.
Oversee the lifecycle management of components and assemblies with a focus on continuous improvement.
Partner with manufacturing to drive cost reductions, quality improvements, and issue resolution.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends in the connector and interconnect industry.
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of product development and design experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical/Electronic Engineering also considered).
Bilingual- English/Mandarin preferred
Hands-on expertise in designing card edge connectors, memory connectors, and cable assemblies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
