Job Details

This role is instrumental in managing product-related claims, mitigating legal risks, and ensuring compliance with trademark and contract policies across the organization. The ideal candidate has a background in claims administration, intellectual property, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Product Liability Claims Administration
  • Claims Management & Investigation: Oversee the entire lifecycle of product liability claims, from intake to resolution, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Work cross-functionally with legal counsel, quality assurance, and product teams to investigate claims, analyze risks, and implement resolution strategies.
  • Negotiation & Settlements: Collaborate with insurers and legal teams to negotiate settlements, minimizing financial and reputational risks.
  • Reporting & Risk Reduction: Maintain detailed records of claims, prepare reports for trend analysis, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Trademark & Contract Compliance
  • Trademark Oversight: Monitor the company’s trademark portfolio, ensuring proper registration, renewals, and legal compliance. Address potential infringement issues in collaboration with external legal counsel.
  • Contract Monitoring: Track contractual obligations, deadlines, and key compliance standards, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Employee Training & Compliance Support: Provide training on trademark guidelines and contract management, fostering compliance across the organization.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with legal, procurement, R&D, marketing, and quality assurance teams to align on compliance strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison with external legal counsel, insurers, and regulatory bodies on product liability claims and compliance matters.

Skills & Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience in claims management, risk analysis, or compliance.
  • Strong expertise in product liability, contract administration, and trademark enforcement.
  • Knowledge of compliance policies, legal terminology, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
