Job Details
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Create and develop manufacturing routers for the implementation of work order.
- Manage the creation of production drawings to facilitate the fabrication of products.
- Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives.
- Review, develop, and propose improvements through increased effectiveness, efficiency, and added value. Reducing waste and eliminating unplanned downtime.
- Interface with sales as required in the support of existing and new opportunities related to the manufacturability of products.
- Manage, control, and develop employees (absence, performance, management, grievances, health & safety).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years’ experience in leading a team of engineers, technical professionals, particularly in a production/process facility.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication concepts and machinery
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement programs and projects.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Global shop a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills, including planning of labor and processes.
- Experience lean (Six Sigma) implementation of lean manufacturing systems.
