We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Production Manager to oversee our injection molding operations. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the production process, from initial mold design to final product delivery, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, position that offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the entire production process of injection molding, ensuring efficiency and quality in all operations.
2. Coordinate and direct the design, processing, blending, storage, and preparation of injection molding production.
3. Implement and manage cost-effective manufacturing procedures and standards.
4. Supervise, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
5. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
6. Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to improve production and quality.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the production process.
8. Regularly review and analyze production data, using insights to optimize processes and reduce waste.
9. Manage budgets, production schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery of products.
10. Stay up-to-date with latest production management best practices and concepts.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, specifically in injection molding.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
3. Proven experience with injection molding techniques and machinery.
4. Strong understanding of production management principles and best practices.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and mentor a team.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proficiency in using production software and other relevant computer applications.
10. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the engineering industry.
