We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager for the Night Shift to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, manage, and optimize production processes during the night shift. You will be responsible for ensuring that our production lines are running efficiently and effectively, meeting all safety and quality standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our production facilities during the night shift and ensuring that our products are produced on time for distribution.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the night shift production operations, ensuring that production schedules and plans are followed accurately and efficiently.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency, using methodologies such as Six Sigma.
3. Ensure that all production activities comply with food safety and quality standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
4. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
5. Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
6. Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
7. Manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
8. Work closely with other department managers to coordinate and optimize production processes.
9. Train, mentor, and supervise night shift production staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
10. Identify and implement opportunities for process and product improvement, working closely with the Quality Assurance and R&D teams.
11. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with aseptic standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the food and beverage industry.
3. Proven experience in managing night shift operations.
4. Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and aseptic standards.
5. Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
6. Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling.
7. Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
8. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
10. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
11. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
12. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
