We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Permanent Production Manager to join our thriving Engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of production in our state-of-the-art facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our production operations run efficiently and effectively to meet business goals and client expectations. This position requires a hands-on approach, a passion for engineering, and a deep understanding of the plastic industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of production, ensuring that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
2. Develop and implement production schedules to ensure that all jobs are completed within deadlines.
3. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
4. Maintain a strong knowledge of the plastic industry and its best practices.
5. Analyze production data and implement improvements in production efficiency.
6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
7. Implement quality control programs to maintain high standards and meet customer expectations.
8. Ensure that all safety guidelines and regulations are adhered to in the production process.
9. Train and supervise staff, and manage any production-related issues.
10. Collaborate with senior management to set production goals, make strategic decisions, and drive business growth.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production management role within the engineering industry, preferably in the plastic sector.
3. Proven experience with plastic production processes and machinery.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Proficient in production software and other relevant computer applications.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
10. Ability to make strategic decisions and contribute to business growth.
