Our organization is currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and strategic individual to join our team as a Plant Manager in the Manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in managing and improving our production operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our manufacturing plant. As a Plant Manager, you will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. You will be in charge of developing processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

1. Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant.
2. Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance.
3. Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance.
4. Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
5. Evaluate performance and productivity, and report on factory operations to senior management.
6. Analyze and reduce costs while maintaining the highest quality in products.
7. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
8. Manage profit and loss statements and account for costs and revenues.
9. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
10. Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.
11. Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
12. Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in plant management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven work experience in the building materials, construction, or related industry.
3. Solid understanding of production processes, industry specifics, and quality control regulations.
4. Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
5. Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
8. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
9. BSc/Ba in Business Management or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus.
10. Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics in a business setting.
11. Proven experience in managing profit and loss statements.
