Responsibilities:
As a Production Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Oversee daily operations of the production department to ensure efficiency and productivity.
2. Implement strategies to drive production efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
3. Develop and implement quality control programs, ensuring products meet set standards and specifications.
4. Conduct regular reviews of the production process and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
5. Coordinate with other departments such as supply chain, logistics, and sales to ensure seamless operations.
6. Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of the production team.
7. Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
8. Prepare and present reports on production metrics, including efficiency, quality, and safety.
9. Lead problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts to ensure timely resolution of issues.
10. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Production Manager in the Manufacturing industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of production management and quality control principles.
4. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficiency in using production software and other relevant computer applications.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
10. A strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance in the manufacturing industry.
