We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Production Manager to join our thriving team in the Manufacturing industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of our production operations, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be someone who is bilingual, with proficiency in Spanish, and has a strong background in managing production in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and within budget.
2. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, reduce waste and increase productivity.
4. Ensure that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations.
5. Collaborate with other department heads to align production with business goals.
6. Provide leadership and direction to the production team, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
7. Train, mentor and develop production staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree OR Equivalent Experience
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in Spanish is required; bilingual candidates will be given preference.
4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and implementing effective solutions.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels.
