Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the entire production process, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the company's high standards and within the set timelines.
2. Develop and implement effective production planning, control, and coordination systems.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs.
4. Implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and streamline operations.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
6. Develop and manage budgets for the production department.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of production processes.
8. Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
9. Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development of team members.
10. Provide regular reports on production activities and performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality control procedures.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of production planning software.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong organizational and planning skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment.
11. Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
12. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
