Production Planner

Located in the Clearwater area we are precision machining and manufacturing company that supplies products to a wide variety of industries. Currently we are looking for a Production Planner to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

• Utilize ERP to to plan for manufacturing
• Read and interpret technical specifications that may include BOM's, drawings, and quality documentation
• Estimate and quote for job shop including understanding of various machining materials - ie: stainless steel and titanium
• Setup and operate CNC equipment
• Meet deadlines for RFI and RQF processes
• Handle all vendor and supplier negotiations including price, terms, and delivery
• Responsible for managing both internal and external relationships ensuring accuracy of deliveries
• Manage material flow and monitor production schedule ensuring efficiency and timelines are met

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Planning or Estimating experience within a machining environment
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment utilizing MasterCAM or similar programs
• Knowledge of ISO standards
• Previous experience with an ERP system
• Proficient in full MS Office suite including Excel
