We are partnering with a well-established electronic manufacturing company to find a driven Production Planner who will own the production schedule from end to end. This is a high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of supply chain, manufacturing, and customer service — making a direct impact on the company's on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance.

Job Details
WHAT YOU'LL DO
▸ Develop and execute operational production planning and inventory management programs aligned with Supply Chain, Product Management, and Manufacturing.
▸ Own rough-cut capacity planning and finite scheduling for the manufacturing organization.
▸ Define demand plans by brand/production line using forecast data, historical trends, and new product pipelines to set finished goods inventory targets.
▸ Create, publish, and continuously maintain a master production schedule (MPS) by brand, aligned with business objectives and made-to-stock targets.
▸ Monitor and manage work-in-process (WIP) and raw material inventory levels, coordinating with Sourcing to minimize excess while supporting production needs.
▸ Serve as the primary communication hub between Customer Service, Product Management, and Supply Chain — providing accurate production date updates for orders.
▸ Lead weekly manufacturing review meetings to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
▸ Track and communicate key supply chain risks related to raw materials and intermediate inventory.
▸ Champion continuous improvement in planning and scheduling systems through problem identification, recommendations, and implementation.
▸ Act as the subject matter expert on scheduling systems for the Manufacturing team.
WHAT YOU BRING
▸ 5+ years of experience in electronic manufacturing, with hands-on production planning or scheduling responsibilities.
▸ Solid working knowledge of demand planning, production scheduling, material flow, and inventory control.
▸ Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
▸ Advanced Excel skills — pivot tables, reference formulas, data import/export, and data management.
▸ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
▸ Experience with an ERP system; Epicor experience is a strong plus.
▸ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
