Job Details

Schedule:
  • 1st shift (5:30am start - End times could vary ), M-F, with occasional Saturdays or as needed.
  • 2nd Shift (2nd shift 3:15pm -End time could vary)
  • 8-hour shifts are typical


Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supervise day-to-day production operations, including yield, scheduling, and quality targets
  • Lead training, coaching, and performance management for production staff
  • Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP, and company policies
  • Partner with HR on recruitment, development, and retention initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement in yields, efficiency, and safety
  • Conduct floor inspections to identify and correct unsafe practices
  • Maintain and control departmental supplies, tools, and equipment
  • Complete production documentation, quality reports, and corrective actions
  • Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting production and quality issues

Qualifications – Needed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations or management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years progressive leadership experience in commercial food operations (protein industry preferred)
  • Strong background in USDA compliance, HACCP, and plant efficiency optimization
  • Proven ability to train, develop, and retain staff while driving operational excellence
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and industry reporting systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
