Key Responsibilities and Duties
Qualifications – Needed:
- 1st shift (5:30am start - End times could vary ), M-F, with occasional Saturdays or as needed.
- 2nd Shift (2nd shift 3:15pm -End time could vary)
- 8-hour shifts are typical
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise day-to-day production operations, including yield, scheduling, and quality targets
- Lead training, coaching, and performance management for production staff
- Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP, and company policies
- Partner with HR on recruitment, development, and retention initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement in yields, efficiency, and safety
- Conduct floor inspections to identify and correct unsafe practices
- Maintain and control departmental supplies, tools, and equipment
- Complete production documentation, quality reports, and corrective actions
- Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting production and quality issues
Qualifications – Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations or management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 years progressive leadership experience in commercial food operations (protein industry preferred)
- Strong background in USDA compliance, HACCP, and plant efficiency optimization
- Proven ability to train, develop, and retain staff while driving operational excellence
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and industry reporting systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
