A bit about us:
A fast-growing sheet metal manufacturing company is adding a 2nd shift! We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our 2nd Shift production team at our Valencia facility. The hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 1:30-10:00pm.

Job Details
SUMMARY
Take a leadership role in managing production floor operations, supporting the Production Manager in overseeing all aspects of manufacturing. Lead training initiatives focused on quality, schedule adherence, safety, and labor cost efficiency. Drive continuous improvement efforts to achieve departmental goals and performance targets. Collaborate closely with shop floor team members to enhance part manufacturability and optimize production processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Take a leadership role in managing production floor operations, supporting the Production Manager in overseeing all aspects of manufacturing. Lead training initiatives focused on quality, schedule adherence, safety, and labor cost efficiency. Drive continuous improvement efforts to achieve departmental goals and performance targets. Collaborate closely with shop floor team members to enhance part manufacturability and optimize production processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and complete scheduled administrative tasks including written reports, quality and safety-related documents, and daily production updates.
- Use of inspection tools
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A business or engineering degree is desirable.
- Minimum five years in a sheet metal fabrication environment. Leadership experience in a team surrounding required
- Must be bilingual – English/Spanish. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
- The ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.
- Six Sigma and lean manufacturing training and expertise are very desirable
- Must be self-directed, organized, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured working environment.
- Strong leadership skills in a team atmosphere and demonstrated ability to promote and maintain a positive, customer-focused work environment
- Must be energetic with a professional demeanor and effective inter-personal skills.
