We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor for our manufacturing division in the construction industry. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about their craft. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing our woodworking, woodcrafting, and carpentry teams, ensuring that production targets are met, and quality standards are upheld.

Responsibilities:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of the woodworking, woodcrafting, and carpentry teams to ensure that production targets are met.
2. Monitoring the quality of the products being produced, ensuring that they meet our high standards and the expectations of our clients.
3. Training and mentoring team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
4. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols, ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
5. Identifying and resolving production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
6. Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of production run smoothly.
7. Conducting regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and guidance to team members.
8. Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Production Supervisor position will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the construction industry.
2. Proven expertise in woodworking, woodcrafting, and carpentry.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of motivating and mentoring teams to meet production targets.
4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
7. The ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
8. A high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards.
9. A degree in a related field would be considered an asset, but is not required.
