We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Permanent Production Supervisor for our Weld & Large Assembly department on the first shift. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our growing team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, planning, scheduling, and managing budgets to ensure that production is cost-effective and meets both quality and safety standards. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of weld and large assembly production lines to ensure efficiency and productivity.
2. Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
3. Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
4. Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
5. Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
6. Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
7. Prepare and maintain production reports.
8. Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement.
9. Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution, and management.
10. Prepare, manage, and uphold the production budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
11. Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, specifically in weld and large assembly.
2. Proven experience in production planning and scheduling.
3. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
4. Excellent project management skills.
5. Ability to prepare and manage budgets.
6. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
7. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
8. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
10. Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, engineering, industrial technology, or related field is preferred.
