Are you a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry seeking a Permanent Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, particularly in food production and beverage operations. Responsibilities:

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of our production team to meet manufacturing objectives. Your duties will include:

1. Overseeing daily production operations and ensuring that production schedules are met.
2. Implementing and enforcing quality control and safety measures, including adherence to HACCP and SQF standards.
3. Utilizing lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
4. Troubleshooting production line issues and implementing corrective actions.
5. Leading process improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies to enhance production quality and efficiency.
6. Training, mentoring, and leading production team members to foster a high-performance culture.
7. Ensuring aseptic techniques are followed in all production processes.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Production Supervisor position should have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in food production or beverage operations.
2. A strong understanding of HACCP and SQF standards.
3. Proven experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement, with Six Sigma certification being a plus.
4. Demonstrable experience in troubleshooting production line issues.
5. Excellent team leadership skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
6. Knowledge and experience in applying aseptic techniques in a manufacturing setting.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
