We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Production Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This exciting opportunity will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production line, ensuring our company's high-quality standards are met, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, packaging, and quality control. This role requires a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate all production and operational processes.
2. Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
3. Oversee the packaging process, ensuring the correct materials are used, and product weights are accurately calculated.
4. Maintain a high level of workplace safety, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
5. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet our stringent quality control standards.
6. Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
7. Implement and monitor sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic production environment.
8. Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement effective solutions.
9. Participate in the development and implementation of production plans and schedules.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high productivity.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in food production and packaging.
2. Proven knowledge and experience with GMP, SQF, Quality Control, and team leadership.
3. Demonstrated ability to calculate weights and manage packaging materials effectively.
4. Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
5. Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
10. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
