As a Permanent Production Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic engineering team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production process, ensure the efficiency of our operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment where innovation, teamwork, and the ability to take on challenges are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the production line, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and safety at all times.
2. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process.
3. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards of production.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
5. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of production machinery and equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
6. Monitor and control inventory of raw materials and finished products.
7. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
8. Comply with all company policies and regulations, as well as relevant health and safety laws.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes by suggesting and implementing innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
1. A degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
4. Proficiency in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a production environment.
10. Willingness to stay updated on new technologies and production techniques in the engineering industry.
