Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive topographic surveys for various construction projects.
2. Analyze and interpret survey data, including maps, graphs, and 3D scans.
3. Liaise with engineers, architects, and construction personnel to provide crucial survey data.
4. Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
5. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
6. Direct or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
7. Conduct research in surveying and mapping methods, using knowledge of techniques of photogrammetric map compilation and electronic data
processing.
8. Adjust surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy.
9. Develop criteria for survey methods and procedures.
10. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the smooth progress of construction projects.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Professional Land Surveyor.
3. Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor.
4. Proficiency in conducting topographic surveys.
5. Strong knowledge of surveying technology and software, including CAD, GPS, GIS, and other relevant applications.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
9. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
11. Strong understanding of the legal implications of land surveys and the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
