We are among the largest social services agencies in LA County, our mission is to end homelessness and to provide other affiliated services to those in need ranging from outreach, housing, substance abuse, wellness, healthcare, and others.

Our clients include people dealing with mental illness, physical illness or disabilities; women and children experiencing domestic violence; and Veterans. Job Details

Position Overview: We are in need of a variety of Program Managers for various programs in downtown Los Angeles ranging from project based housing and two separate street outreach programs, these Program Managers are to be registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and in good standing, and have had clinical experience. The Program Managers are responsible for the oversight, coordination, operational, and quality control for their designated programs.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to the multidisciplinary teams, ensuring continuity of care and services between The People Concern agency resources and partnering agencies
  • Provide individual and team supervision, support, and performance evaluations for assigned staff
  • Provide clinical guidance to staff as needed, including in emergencies and crisis situations
  • Ensure that services emphasize customer choice and harm reduction
  • Be available to respond to emergency calls and situations on a 24-hour basis when needed
  • Assist in the screening, assessment, and enrollment of clients in a range of services
  • Ensure all paperwork and data collection is complete, timely, accurate, and current in agency records and electronic databases through on-going audits of electronic data bases and chart reviews
  • Assist Program Director in budgetary oversight of program administration and ensure program revenue and expenses are within the adopted annual budget
  • Ensure adherence to funding source contracts and performance standards; prepare written reports on program activities as assigned and as required by funding sources
  • Provide training to staff on policies and procedures of the program
  • As needed, assist in the screening, assessment and enrollment of participants including orientation to program policies resources and goals

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Will oversee single location's clinicians, clinical case managers, administrative staff and others

Required Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in related field (Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy)
  • Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences + Hours Towards Licensure
  • 2 Years of experience working with the homeless, mentally ill, or those with substance additions
  • Supervisory experience
  • Able to work in high-tolerance harm reduction model
  • Ability to obtain CPR/1st Aid Certifications
  • Valid CA Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications:
  • LCSW or LMFT License
  • Clinical Supervisory Experience
  • Knowledge of substance abuse treatment

Work Environment:
  • Office environment with potential occasional field work
