We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Accountant to join our rapidly growing construction team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the financial management of our construction projects, from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, finance teams, and the senior management to ensure financial transparency and accuracy across all our construction projects. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all financial aspects of our construction projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
2. Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
3. Conducting regular financial analysis to identify potential cost overruns, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
4. Collaborating with project managers to develop project budgets, track actual costs against budget, and forecast future costs.
5. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
6. Preparing regular financial reports for senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
7. Working closely with the finance team to integrate project accounting with overall company financial management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Accountant role should have:

1. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
