Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage financial aspects of construction projects, from initiation to closure.
2. Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive and accurate financial reports to management and stakeholders.
3. Monitor project budgets, identify variances, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
4. Liaise with project managers and other professionals to ensure all financial operations are in line with legal regulations and internal policies.
5. Review and approve invoices related to each project, ensuring all expenses are accurately recorded and supported by necessary documents.
6. Monitor and report on project cash flow and financial forecasts.
7. Coordinate with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out smoothly.
8. Implement financial risk management policies and strategies for each project.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and team members.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Project Accountant, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Exceptional numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
6. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and create financial reports and projections.
7. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
