Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the financial management of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Preparing and processing invoices and billing statements, ensuring they are accurate and timely.
3. Conducting regular financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
4. Collaborating with project managers to develop project budgets, monitor project costs, and identify financial risks.
5. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
6. Preparing financial reports and presenting findings to senior management.
7. Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial statements and audits.
8. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
9. Identifying opportunities for financial improvement and implementing new initiatives.
10. Providing financial advice and guidance to project teams.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the Construction
3. Proficiency in billing and invoicing procedures.
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
6. Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and presentation skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
