A contractor with over 30+ years in the government, federal, and public markets. We focus on work around the Midwest and are a leading contractor at what we do. We are looking to bring on a strong Superintendent with VA, NAVFAC, USACE work or something within the federal space. With the backlog we have, we need a Superintendent who is already well-versed within Federal work and the contracts/regulations that go along with it.

We are in need of a Superintendent with Federal/Government experience to join us. This role is uniquely positioned for a seasoned professional who has a passion for construction and a track record of successfully managing federal projects. You will be at the heart of our operations, overseeing all aspects of our federal construction projects from planning to completion. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile, multi-million dollar projects that have a direct impact on our nation's infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
2. Ensuring all federal, state, and local regulations, standards, and protocols are adhered to throughout the project.
3. Coordinating and supervising the activities of construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
4. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, government officials, and other stakeholders.
5. Implementing and monitoring quality control and safety programs, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
6. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the project.
8. Providing regular status reports to senior management, including progress updates, budget reports, and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on federal projects.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex construction projects.
3. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local construction regulations and standards.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, government officials, and other stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
8. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
