Job Details

As a Permanent Project Cost Analyst in the Construction sector of our Tech Services industry, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your analytical skills, cost management expertise, and industry knowledge to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness and profitability of our construction projects. You'll work alongside a team of dedicated professionals, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. You will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from initial budgeting to final billing, and will have a direct impact on the financial outcomes of our projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive cost analysis for each construction project, identifying potential areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
2. Prepare and present monthly cost reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
3. Utilize Procore construction management software to streamline project cost management and reporting.
4. Handle project billing, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment.
5. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project budgets and cost management strategies.
6. Monitor project expenditures against budgets, promptly identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
7. Develop and implement cost management best practices and processes, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
8. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, helping to inform strategic decision-making.
9. Conduct post-project cost reviews, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for improvement in future projects.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost analysis or a related role in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
6. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Knowledge of construction industry best practices and trends.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential cost issues before they impact project outcomes.
9. Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
10. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
