Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of HVAC projects. This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC systems, commercial construction, project management, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise HVAC projects from conception to completion.
2. Prepare and submit RFIs, change orders, and project schedules.
3. Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and other construction professionals to ensure project requirements are met.
4. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
5. Ensure all HVAC systems meet company standards and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
6. Conduct site inspections to ensure the project is executed as per the plan and schedule.
7. Identify potential project risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
8. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
9. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
10. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team as required.
Qualifications:
2. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer, specifically in mechanical industry and commercial construction.
3. Proficient in project management software and tools.
4. Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and air conditioning.
5. Strong understanding of MEP.
6. Proven experience in managing project schedules and change orders.
