Our company is currently seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of our construction projects to ensure accuracy and quality from conception to completion. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all technical aspects of construction projects, including ground-up construction, renovation, and retrofit projects.
2. Work closely with project managers and other team members to design and implement project plans, including determining project specifications, scheduling, and resource allocation.
3. Review, analyze, and interpret project blueprints, plans, and other documents to ensure they meet necessary requirements and standards.
4. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing as planned.
5. Conduct on-site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
6. Utilize project management software and technologies to track project progress and report any issues or changes to the project manager and stakeholders.
7. Conduct risk management processes to mitigate any potential issues or delays.
8. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained.
9. Provide technical advice and resolve any emerging problems or deficiencies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry, with specific experience in ground-up construction.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure and solve complex engineering problems.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Current Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
10. Must be willing to travel as needed for project oversight and meetings.
