Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced work environment, and who has a passion for construction. As a Project Engineer, you will be involved in new construction projects, commercial and residential door installation, and trim carpentry work. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects from start to finish, working closely with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and analyze project specifications and blueprints to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
• Conduct on-site inspections to monitor the quality of work and adherence to safety regulations.
• Address and resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, budget updates, and other documentation as required.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other professionals to determine the most efficient and cost-effective construction methods.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal construction regulations and standards.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical advice as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in new construction projects, commercial and residential door installation, and trim carpentry work.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in construction software and technology.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, and to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are a plus.
