Are you passionate about the intersection of construction and technology? Do you have a knack for estimating project costs and timelines with precision? If you answered yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Project Estimator for A/V Installs to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, overseeing the estimation and planning of audiovisual installation projects in corporate environments.
Responsibilities:
As Project Estimator, you will be responsible for:
1. Providing detailed and accurate project estimates for audiovisual installation projects in corporate environments.
2. Utilizing CAD+ to create detailed project plans and blueprints.
3. Collaborating with project managers and installation teams to ensure project estimates are accurate and realistic.
4. Working with vendors to obtain quotes for materials and equipment.
5. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in audiovisual installations, including Creston, Extron, AMX, QSYS, and Biamp Programming.
6. Maintaining CTS and CTS-D certifications and staying informed about changes and advancements in these areas.
7. Navigating and resolving any potential issues or roadblocks that may impact project estimates.
8. Communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders about project estimates and timelines.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project estimation, specifically in the field of audiovisual installations in corporate environments.
2. Proficiency in CAD+, as well as familiarity with Creston, Extron, AMX, QSYS, and Biamp Programming.
3. CTS and CTS-D certifications.
4. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work.
7. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate potential issues before they arise.
