Are you a seasoned professional in the construction industry with a knack for managing complex projects? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Executive for our Construction Department. This role is designed for a driven individual who thrives on taking ownership of projects, from the initial conception phase through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a variety of construction projects, including build-outs, fit-ups, tenant improvements, renovations, and interior design. You will be working closely with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
3. Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
4. Review and approve project plans and specifications, making modifications as needed.
5. Coordinate with clients to define project requirements and expectations.
6. Conduct site inspections to ensure conformance to design specifications and building codes.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
8. Ensure safety regulations are adhered to at all construction sites.
9. Use project management software, such as Primavera and Procore, to track project progress and manage resources.
10. Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera and Procore.
4. Extensive experience in managing build-outs, fit-ups, tenant improvements, renovations, and interior design projects.
5. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
6. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
7. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
8. Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
9. Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
10. Extensive experience in managing budgets for large construction projects.
11. Strong knowledge of construction law and building codes.
12. Ability to make decisions under pressure.
13. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
14. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
15. Ability to travel to different job sites within a designated geographical area.
