Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Supervise the project team, subcontractors, and consultants, maintaining a clear line of communication with all stakeholders.
- Foster strong, positive relationships with ownership, consultants, and project partners
- Review pre-construction planning and documentation to fully understand project scope and contractual obligations.
- Manage project mobilization, setup of temporary facilities, and site logistics.
- Oversee project scheduling, monitoring milestones, and resolving delays with proactive solutions.
- Support the buy-out process to ensure the selection of quality subcontractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with the Superintendent in the creation and management of project schedules through completion.
- Monitor and support the Project Engineer in the submittal process, material procurement, and monthly payment applications.
- Oversee all project RFIs, change management, and public agency coordination.
- Conduct weekly project team meetings and attend OAC meetings, providing critical updates on project progress and status.
- Generate and review project daily reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes to maintain construction standards.
- Monitor and audit project team correspondence with owners, lenders, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all project deliverables are accurate, timely, and meet contract requirements.
- Promote the maintenance of a safe work environment and adherence to all company safety policies.
- Lead project safety meetings and inspections, ensuring all site activities comply with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager supervising project teams
- Extensive experience with 100+ unit multifamily and mixed-use projects (including podium, garden walk-up, and other Type I developments)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask while leading meetings, delivering reports, submittals, maintaining sub-lists, subcontracts, schedules, change orders, insurance, material procurement, logistics, as-builts, and closeout.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, Scheduling Software (MS Project), and Project Management Software (Procore)
