We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Permanent Assistant Superintendent for Data Center Construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with specific experience in hospital or data center projects. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and completion of complex data center construction projects. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Superintendent in overseeing all phases of the data center construction project, including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
2. Develop and maintain construction schedules, identify potential problems, and implement solutions when issues arise.
3. Ensure that all construction activities comply with company standards and safety regulations.
4. Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project plans and specifications.
5. Assist in the management and coordination of subcontractors and labor, ensuring efficient use of resources.
6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
7. Work closely with the project team to ensure all project objectives, including timelines and budgets, are met.
8. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, subcontractors, and management, providing regular updates on project status and progress.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction, with specific experience in hospital or data center construction.
2. Proven experience as an Assistant Superintendent or similar role in construction projects.
3. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards.
5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
8. Proficient in construction software programs and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
