A bit about us:

Project Managers are responsible for the full lifecycle of their projects, including bidding, negotiating, and overall project management. They work closely with key stakeholders such as company leadership, superintendents, project owners, architects, and engineers to ensure successful outcomes. Typically, a Project Manager oversees three to five projects simultaneously, with individual project values ranging from $1 million to $20 million. The annual portfolio expectation for this role is to manage a book of business totaling between $20 million and $35 million.




We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager/ Estimator for our rapidly growing Construction company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in commercial construction who is looking to apply their expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management, specifically in government public buildings, schools, fire houses construction projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from strategic planning and budgeting to quality control and risk management.

  • Overseeing all stages of project life cycle, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
  • Managing project budget, performing budget analysis, and ensuring projects are completed within budget.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure high standards are consistently met.
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to meet project goals and objectives.
  • Coordinating and managing contract negotiations and agreements.
  • Overseeing site work and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Managing the bidding process, including preparing bid packages, analyzing bids, and selecting contractors.
  • Tracking RFIs and ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
  • Collaborating with estimators to provide accurate commercial estimates.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction management.
  • Experience with ground-up construction projects.
  • Proven track record of managing budgets, contracts, and timelines.
  • Strong strategic planning and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain quality control standards.
  • Proficiency in construction services, including bidding and site work.
  • Experience as an estimator, specifically in commercial estimating.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
