Job Details
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing diverse construction projects from conception to completion. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the construction process. Your exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals and objectives.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
Monitor construction progress, anticipate potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Manage project budgets and financial reporting, providing cost control measures to keep projects on track.
Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and maintaining clear lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices whenever possible.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all project activities.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance project delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Construction Project Manager, with a track record of successfully completing projects of various sizes and complexities.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive collaboration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in construction practices.
Familiarity with sustainability principles in construction is a plus.
