Job Details
- Work closely with estimating department to understand material costs etc.
- Establish and maintain schedules for the entirety of the project.
- Review and maintain budget allocation for the duration of the project.
- Work with owner, architects, code enforcement officials, and others important to the project.
- Work with owner/client to explain each stage, provide updates, obtain approvals, and complete change orders for scope of work revisions.
- Establish strong working relationships with all subcontractors/vendors.
- Work with vendors/suppliers to obtain pricing and delivery dates.
- Ensure all work is done in compliance with OSHA and company risk management policies.
- Manage the overall team providing clear communication of project objectives and guidance to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Monitor project costs to stay within budget.
- Prepare status reports identifying cost overruns, construction delays, trade union updates, and other relevant information.
- Manage the close-out process.
