Job Details
The Project Manager/ Estimator has responsibility for managing awarded projects/orders from start to finish. This position is responsible for ensuring projects/orders are delivered on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintains relationships with existing customers, develops relationships with new customers and supports prospects for new business.
2. Works collaboratively with Estimating, Programming, Purchasing and Operations to ensure lead time, quality and profitability targets for each awarded project/order are achieved.
3. Supports all Quality Management System requirements along with specific customer requirements.
4. Ensures all proper job activation requirements are met.
5. Participates in daily Nitro Production Meetings and weekly Capacity Planning Sessions.
6. Oversees project to ensure quality of work and adherence to budget, timeline, and specifications.
7. Manages any required subcontractors to ensure Quality, Lead Time and Profitability levels are met. This includes verification of all subcontractor invoices.
8. Oversees contract billings, approves subcontractor and supplier invoices to assure proper and correct cost coding.
9. Reviews job cost reports to monitor progress compared to the estimate. Prepares profit projections as the job progresses.
10. Performs all other duties as requested.
11. Follows all company policies, procedures, and safety rules. Conducts self always in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner as a representative of Company.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in Estimating and Project Management for sheet metal processes
- Familiar with reading blueprints, have basic math skills
- Customer facing position, so good customer interactions, email and verbal needed
- Software: Excel, AutoCAD, ERP systems, Estimating software knowledge
- Knowledge of Trumpf equipment a big plus.
