Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all phases of assigned commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through project closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors and owners to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
  • Review and negotiate sub-contracts, manage change orders, and handle any disputes or issues that arise.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and daily logs, is accurately maintained and up-to-date.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, billing, and tracking expenses to ensure projects remain profitable.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management in the Construction industry
  • Prior experience with single-story and 2-story ground-up builds as well as commercial tenant improvements (banking and retail project experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong project estimating and scheduling skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software (AutoDesk), Estimating Software (ProEst), and Scheduling Software (MS Project)
