Our esteemed construction company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a specialty in Healthcare Construction. This role is a permanent position, focused on Free Standing Emergency Room Department (FSED) projects, where you will be responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of work for assigned construction projects. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in healthcare construction, specifically with FSED, ground-up projects, commercial projects, renovation, tenant improvement, remodel, and hospital construction.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be expected to:

1. Lead and manage healthcare construction projects from beginning to end, with a particular focus on FSED.
2. Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of multiple or large scale projects, including ground-up construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects.
3. Develop and deliver project plans, apply project controls, manage project risks, and report on project status and finances.
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring quality standards are met.
5. Review work progress on a daily basis and ensure that all project deadlines are met.
6. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks, ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to.
7. Maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
8. Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.
9. Carry out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in healthcare construction.
2. Proven experience in managing FSED, ground-up, commercial projects, renovation, tenant improvement, remodel, and hospital construction.
3. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
6. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
7. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
8. Excellent time-management and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
9. Outstanding negotiation and decision-making skills.
10. Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
11. In-depth understanding of the construction industry, including familiarity with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
12. Proficient in project management software.
