Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the healthcare construction industry? We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Permanent Project Manager for Healthcare Construction. This role will involve managing large scale, ground up healthcare construction projects from preconstruction to close-out. You will be responsible for ensuring projected costs and profits are met while ensuring the project is delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on meaningful projects that will have a direct impact on healthcare facilities and the communities they serve.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of the construction process from preconstruction to close-out, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and communicate updates and changes to all relevant stakeholders.
3. Coordinate and supervise the work of all construction team members including contractors, architects, and engineers.
4. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
5. Prepare and submit regular project reports detailing project status, issues, and resolutions.
6. Perform risk management to minimize project risks and develop contingency plans.
7. Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of project costs and profits.
8. Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the healthcare construction industry.
3. Proven experience managing large scale, ground up construction projects from preconstruction to close-out.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, costs, quality control, safety protocols, and legal requirements.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Proficient in project management software and other industry-related technology.
8. Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
9. PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
10. Must be willing to travel as necessary to manage projects.
