We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Project Manager to join our Healthcare Construction team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and challenging construction projects in the healthcare industry. Our ideal candidate is a driven professional with a track record of managing large-scale, ground up, and expansion projects. You will be working closely with our Project Manager and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our projects. This position is an excellent opportunity to further your career in healthcare construction and make a significant impact in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale healthcare construction projects.
  • Manage and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure the project meets all specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure all materials and equipment are available as needed.
  • Assist in risk management, including identifying, analyzing, and responding to potential risks.
  • Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the resolution of any issues or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide valuable input to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare construction.
  • Proven experience in managing ground up, expansion, and large-scale projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in construction software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) is a plus.
