Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager who specializes in Healthcare Construction. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about shaping the future of healthcare through innovative construction projects. This role will primarily focus on the construction of hospitals, medical centers, research centers from the ground up as well as some enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project from inception to completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
  • Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the healthcare construction sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the construction of hospitals, medical centers, research centers, and new builds from the ground up.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
