We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager for our growing Construction business. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the construction industry, particularly in civil, rezoning, entitlements, design, multifamily, and construction. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale, complex construction projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of construction projects, including initial planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
3. Oversee the rezoning and entitlement process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
4. Lead the design process, working closely with designers and architects to ensure the project meets the client's needs and expectations.
5. Manage multifamily construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
6. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
7. Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any issues.
8. Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
9. Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in civil, rezoning, entitlements, design, multifamily, and construction.
4. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
9. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
10. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
