We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager for Manufacturing Plant Construction to join our team. This role will have you overseeing the construction of large-scale manufacturing plants, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the driving force behind the success of our projects, coordinating all construction activities from inception to completion. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our company, while working on exciting and challenging projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of the construction process for manufacturing plant projects, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring that all project activities are accurately captured and tracked.
3. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
4. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to ensure that all project requirements are met.
5. Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.
6. Ensure that quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques are maintained.
7. Regularly report on project status to stakeholders, providing detailed updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the construction of manufacturing plants.
3. Proven experience with commercial concrete and Construction Commercial Ground up.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage project teams and stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in project management software tools.
8. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
