Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of HVAC/mechanical construction projects.
Coordinate across disciplines—HVAC, plumbing, process piping, refrigeration, controls, electrical—to integrate mechanical scopes.
Manage budgets, schedules, subcontracts, and procurement to ensure projects meet cost, timeline, and quality targets.
Interface with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to address and resolve project challenges.
Monitor safety, sustainability, and lean‑process adherence including IPD and BIM workflows.
Supervise subcontractors, onsite teams, and technical staff to maintain schedule and quality standards.
Oversee commissioning, testing, balancing, and close‑out protocols per customer and industry requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent; or equivalent industry experience.
5+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical projects.
Deep understanding of HVAC systems, piping fabrication, process piping, refrigeration, temperature control systems, and commissioning.
Proficiency in project management tools: Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, BIM Collaborate, or similar.
Skilled in budgeting, cost controls, scheduling, contract administration, and procurement strategies.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
Dedication to safety-first culture, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Lean construction and BIM/IPD experience strongly preferred.
Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED AP, Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) are a plus.
