Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop master and individual project contracts
  • Work to establish project timelines
  • Coordinate vendor communications and meetings
  • Assist in the selection and hiring of consultants and contractors
  • Monitor any project progression and deliverable items
  • Technical review of project documents
  • Budget and estimate creation and reviews
  • Research site specific building code
  • Present regular construction site visits
  • Promote efficiency, production, and project profitability
  • Develop and maintain current and future vendor relationships
  • Change order review and administer progress payments
  • Up to 30% travel required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Bachelors in Construction or Masters in Construction Management, or relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in hospitality/restaurant development
  • Proficiency in architectural design and presentation
  • Knowledge of permitting processes and building codes
  • Intermediate knowledge in MEP and structural building systems
  • Prior experience in project management, project delivery, and staff management/leadership within a firm or client environment is preferred
  • Applicants should have experience with reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
