Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Manage HVAC sheet metal scopes from project kickoff through closeout
  • Coordinate with BIM/VDC teams to support model completion and release schedules
  • Align fabrication timelines with field installation needs and sequencing
  • Support field leadership by resolving project issues and maintaining workflow continuity
  • Track project budgets, labor productivity, procurement, and material usage
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Review drawings and specifications to ensure scopes are complete and executable
  • Identify conflicts early and drive resolution prior to field impact
  • Maintain communication with field teams, fabrication, vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors
  • Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sheet metal or mechanical construction project management
  • Strong understanding of HVAC ductwork systems and installation methods
  • Experience coordinating with BIM/VDC and fabrication teams
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project workflows
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment

Preferred Experience

  • Commercial construction project experience
  • Previous sheet metal field or installation background
  • Familiarity with prefabrication and fabrication-driven workflows
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or related construction software
