We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager- Specialties in the Construction industry to join our team. You'll be at the heart of our operations, managing complex projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in commercial construction, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for strategic planning and contract management. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project management from initial conception to completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated funds.
- Lead contract negotiations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
- Utilize strategic planning skills to forecast potential challenges, devise contingency plans, and ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Oversee the drywall installation process, ensuring that it is performed correctly and meets all necessary building codes and regulations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring that all parties are kept informed of project progress.
- Implement and enforce safety standards and regulations, ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
- Continually review and assess project progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction is required, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and contracts.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and project management.
- Extensive knowledge of drywall installation processes and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are a plus.
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work.
