Project Manager - Stucco/Drywall/Metal Framing

A southeast Florida metal framing and drywall contractor is looking for Project Managers.

As a Project Manager for Stucco/Drywall/Metal Framing, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic construction team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a solid background in drywall, metal framing, and project management. You will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be working with a diverse team of professionals, coordinating and managing all project activities, and ensuring that all project objectives are met. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
• Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of projects.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in drywall, metal framing, and project management.
• Proven working experience in construction project management.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Familiarity with construction management software packages.
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of professionals.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
