We bring in repeat business while still expanding out clientele around the country. Starting in the Midwest, we have expanded quite a bit over the years. Orlando has been a big focus for us over the last several years and the work is not slowing down!

We need someone to come on board as a Project Manager looking over underground utility projects in the Chicagoland area.

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team who will specializing in Underground Utilities. This role is critical to our success and requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced professional who will be responsible for managing complex underground utility projects in the construction industry. This includes sewer, water, and other underground infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing large-scale, high-budget projects from initial conception through to completion.

Responsibilities
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of underground utility projects, including sewer, water, and other infrastructure projects.
2. Developing and executing project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
3. Leading a team of project professionals and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
4. Coordinating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Managing project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
6. Ensuring all project activities comply with company and industry safety standards.
7. Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
8. Resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
9. Preparing and presenting project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
10. Continually seeking opportunities to improve project management processes and techniques.

Qualifications
1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on underground utilities and sewer projects.
2. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3. Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex underground utility projects.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
5. Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety regulations.
6. Proficient in project management software and tools.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
9. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
10. A professional certification in project management (PMP) is preferred.
